I've had this for a few years. Was working just fine. I have it hooked up via optical from my digital cable box.
About 6-8 months ago, it has stopped working. I should say that if I unplug the power for a while, and plug it back in, it works. But then when I power it off, and turn it on the next time there is no sound. Then I have to unplug the power and start all over again.
I could use some some advice if anyone has any.

It might be a long stretch but did you had any answer to your problem. my system has started to do that. I think it might be overheating issue but i can't say for sure and the customer service is never answering.
