What's up guys?
I keep looking at it and think " I should pull that out I rarely use it if ever". Then I think " Yeah then I pull it and then I will want to watch one of my few HD DVD movies".
I'm almost finding that mental as I don't think I have turned it on once in 2015. Last time I used it was in 2014 when I was watching Smallville. I have one season on HD DVD and I could easily buy it on blu ray. The movies I own on HD DVD have a DVD version at least most of them and honestly I don't really care. IF I really wanted to watch any of those old movies I could buy the Blu Ray , stream it or just care less to see them ever again.
But with all that being said, it's still in my system.

I still have a couple set up, and a lot of movies that I haven't bought on Blu-Ray. Most of the movies I bought in the format were $2 to $3 on closeout. Since I don't need to free up space, I leave it in the system. The video and audio performance is still outstanding, even if I only turn it on every few months. It can also be used as a high quality CD player.

Still have mine with about 20+ movies/concerts. Still prefer it to Blu-ray. I actually just played mine for the first time in a while when I got my Parasound P5 and the sound quality is quite good on CD's. I'll keep mine until it dies because it's worth more than I can get for it.Things work out best for those who make the best of the way things work out.-John Wooden

I have one I never use. Makes a decent DVD player though.Oh, Listen here mister. We got no way of understandin' this world. But we got as much sense of this bird flyin in the sky. Now there is a lot that bird don't know, but it don't change the fact that the world is happening to him all the same. I have one of the old Toshibas in my bedroom that I mostly use as an upconverting DVD player, but I do have some old HD DVDs too. These were SOLID units.Currently orbiting Bowie's Blackstar.!
