WTB: Dynamat

Just seeing if anybody has leftover Dynamat that they're just sitting on in the garage waiting for a "future project". I'm not looking to buy $150-200 worth of Dynamat or whatever a "wedge" pack is. I need to do eight 6.5" drivers, two 12" PR's, and two 8" PR's. If there is enough left over to do my turntable, great. Do I need to buy one of these $150 packs to do this much? I figured that was enough to do an entire car...

Okay I assumed a wedge pack was something different, not a single rectangular piece. Is that enough to do what I need to do?afterburnt wrote: »They didn't speak a word of English, they were from South Carolina.

It is a single piece 4sq'. I used the exact same pack and did my pair of 2B's and had more than a third left over. It is called a wedge pack because of the package design I believe. The best way to predict the future is to invent it.
It is imperative that we recognize that an opinion is not a fact. -
I did my 2.3's with the wedge pack with a little left over.I purchased some more for another set of speakers and have some left over.Buy the wedge pack and if it isn't enought to finish your project let me know and I can send you enough to finish for the price of shipping. You shouldn't need that much more.2 Channel

Try some Noico. http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_2?url=search-alias=automotive&field-keywords=Noico
I did my car ceiling with this stuff and it worked great. It may not be quite up to Dynamat Extreme but it is very good and likely more than good enough for speaker baskets.Stan

Did 10 drivers and 2 passive radiators with 1wedge pack $23.99 and was just short by about 1 tenth of a sheet. In your situation 1 wedge pack should be enough. See dynamat tips in vintage speaker discussions

I'm looking for a small piece. Either 14 by 10 or a pair of 7 by 5 or something close to it.
