75t's - Will not play above a whisper

I have a set of 75t's that will not play above a whisper. I switched to another set of Polks and the system played fine. Please advise.

Are these new speakers that you just bought? Were they working at one time, but don't now? Are the binding post jumper plates firmly connected on the rear of the speakers?
