Side surrounds fire toward your ears. Want the tweeter 5 feet or so off the floor. Have mine at 65 inches, center of tweeter.

Facing the listening seat. Again take a look at the pic I posted for a good idea of how high.

French the tall wooden shelves up against the wall to the side of the couch. You could put one of the Jamo's on top of those shelves.

You mean the one with the 2 candles and pink vases?
What if the distance speaker-couch is not the same between the 2 speakers?RTiA5 + CSiA4 + Jamo SW410E
Yamaha TSR-700 (equivalent to RX V6A)
No surround...yet -
If your receiver has Audyssey EQ or any other automatic room EQ feature it will automatically compensate for that. Otherwise you can set the distance manually for the rears just like you can for the fronts and the receiver will take the distances into the surround features and send everything where it should be time compensated.
So long as the CORRECT distances are input!!
Whip out the 25 foot tape measure if you don't have room EQ! -
You may not be able to see it in the pic I posted, but the right surround is a few feet closer to the listening seat than the left. One of the subs is under the table on the right side of the couch and the other is diagnonally across the room next to the left front speaker. All of this gets compensated for in the Audyssey Room EQ.
