It had been going downhill even though it was less than 2 years old, light use, and eventually no mouse movement at all with any mouse in da house.
After checking insides for tight connections and any Verrry obvious problems, hooked it up and no change.
Well I yanked the power cord and internet and there it sat waiting black Friday and my 300 dollar best buy card.
Before heading out and spending money, thought I would plug it in, and you guess it, works like a charm. been 3 days now and still crossing fingers.
moral of story, if your pc is really frustrating you and you just cant take it,
YANK YOUR CORD OFF.
BTW windows 10 download prompted right awaym hit do it later, but it downloaded anyway, worried me but so far so good.

Hey Scotty. Sounds like you have a Gremlin in there. I've had my share with computers and other electronics.
If you have Windows 8 or 8.1, 10 is an improvement.

Hey Scotty windows 10 breathed new life into my old media PC as well, before the free upgrade it was sluggish almost to the point that I was going to scrap it now it's like a brand new machine. Now it's probably because I had messed it up in the first place.
Cheers, Roger
