Audioquest Black Lab Sub Cable

Anyone have experience with these AQ sub cables? I re-organized my equipment cabinet and ordered a couple 2m cables. They arrived yesterday, but now that I took a look at them in person, they look kinda low quality vs. my other sub cables (AQ Black Thunder & Blue Jeans Cables LC-1). Thanks

You purchased a entry level cable. It's still a good quality sub cable. I will do it's job exactly how it should and get all the Signal at that length to the Subwoofer.
I'm willing to be it's overall sound quality will compete or beat both of your other sub cables even at it's entry level.
I don't sell that cable I start at the Irish Red and go up.

Thanks Dan. Yea, I know its entry level. These were 50% of the price for the AQ Black Thunder cables I bought from Audio Advisor. Just second guessing myself if I'm sacrificing any performance for cost....

I use on in my HT.

Works and sounds very good to me!

I swapped back and forth with an Irish Red cable from my Fathers system, I could not tell any difference...
  • For a 2 meter RCA sub-woofer cable it doesn't matter much what coax you use. But for a long cable (maybe 10 meters) the Blue Jeans LC-1 is the first choice.

Yep, I think I'm going to install these Black Lab Cables this weekend and give them a trial run. I should be able to do a A/B comparison with the other cables, so I'll test and confirm. Thanks for all the input!!!
