    I thought most receivers and integrated amps were, but I'm not positive.

    Ah ok. Well to tell you the truth, MF remotes are not that good, so upgrading to a Harmony is a really good idea.

    All receivers are common ground. Integrated amps are a completely different breed and that one is not common ground.

    It's a good indicator, but dual mono can be common ground, although it really defeats the purpose of making it dual mono to begin with, IMO.

    Polks SDA speakers require a common ground amplifier as they use the ground connection as part of the circuit they use for crosstalk cancellation. There is also an isolation transformer that can be used in later generation SDA speakers which allows you to use mono blocks etc that can't have their grounds tied.
