Focal 807v Bookshelf speakers

What's up everyone?
I got a pair of beautiful Ebony Focal 807v bookshelf speakers. They are in excellent condition and sound O so amazing. These are one of those bookshelf speakers that you can sit back, get comfortable and get lost in the music. They excel at all kinds of music. They really don't favor anything as they play Rock metal jazz classical or whatever the hell you want with easy and clarity.
I will post some pic's of them when I get a chance but I figured I'd let you guys know I have them up fro grabs. I don't have the original boxes anymore but I will wrap the hell out of them for safe transport unless you want to come here and pick them up local.
I'm thinking $600.00 plus shipping in the US only. I'm open to offers for serious buyers.
They make stands that are for this model and they have bolt holes on the bottom so you can bolt them to the stands. This is an ideal design so they can't get knocked off their stand by accident. I have seen that so many times and it's one of the reasons I'm not a huge fan of bookshelf design speakers. I haven't searched for them lately but if no one wants them I'm gonna keep them and find the matching stands.

These speakers are basically like new. I only found one flaw and that is on the one side one one of them has a glue mark from rubber feet being attached on the one side of the wood panel as they where at one time in a bookshelf on their sides. They are pretty big speakers and the bookshelf was a tad lower so I decided to use them on their side.
    Take a lookIMG_0443_zpsk64fabfb.jpg
You have to get right up on it to see it and in the right lightIMG_0442_zpsyjda19rp.jpg
but as soon as you back off just inches it's hard to see it and if the light isn't right you can't see it at all.

The rest of the sides look like the top pick there.

$550.00 plus shipping. These need a good home, they are not Replaying any music here but I might have to re hook them up to listen to them once again.

I have a great idea, I'll ship you my 806V's, you ship those bad boys here, then we will call it even!

You may be asking yourself, "what do I get out of this deal"?

Factory boxes for my 806V's and the knowledge that you have made me a very happy person.

    You're welcome.

Please let me know when these have shipped.

I would love to have these, but cannot justify forking over the extra cash for them right now. Perhaps if my Marantz integrated amps sells...

PS - Congrats on your 14,000th post!! B)
I'm in no hurry to move them. I keep looking at them thinking I should do something with them so I figured I'd offer them to the forum as I know many people on here favor Bookshelf speakers and there are many people who have a passion for the brand.

  • I remember these from many moons ago. These will destroy the LSI 9's in every imaginable way. I am one that lives in the bookie world and for nostalgic reasons may get these. I am hell bent on the Sopras at the moment

Ever seen the Usher CP-777? Halen has. The Sopras are child's play compared to those. In fact, just about every stand-mount speaker ever made is child's play compared to the 777's.

Holy Guacamole! Thems is huge things!!

Here's one beside if I'm not mistaken a LSIM 707!

Wow! Now that's a huge book shelf. Love the stands.

Thanks for the tip Halen, I was going to ask how these Focal 807v would compare to the stock LSi9's.

Okay. Crazy. The speakers next to my Ushers are the LSIM 705s.. That is a picture that I took of one of my audio setups at the time.

Mantis, are the Focals still available?

Those are some minty looking bookshelves. GLWTS! I'm listening to mine right now. My 705's are boring compared to focals.
