Tube pre

Unexpected bills lately have screwed with my ability to purchase things but could be in a position to buy one if I get a couple things sold. Would like to stay under four bills and a remote for my lazy butt would be awesome.

When I had Paul's Dared Sl200aa I really like it, you maybe able to find one around $400 or under used,. They have 2 input (CD & TT) and 2 outputs (amp & Sub) and they sound really sweet and have a remote!

I used it with my Vincent Amplifier and the Adcom 5503.
2 ch- Polk CRS+ * Vincent SA-31MK Preamp * Vincent Sp-331 Amp * Marantz SA8005 SACD * Project Xperience Classic TT * Sumiko Blue Point #2 MC cartridge

    HT - Polk 703's * NAD T-758 * Adcom 5503 * Oppo 103 * Samsung 60" series 8 LCD

I have a pair of Lsi15's either with stock or the db840 upgrade for possible trade locally.

Dave if you sell/trade those 15's with the stock drivers I probably would be interested in the db840's if you were looking to off load them.

For $4 bones that's a tough order, especially if you want remote. Besides the Dared I can't think of anything else and $400 for the Dared is a pretty good deal these days.

Maybe keep an eye out for a used Jolida. But it's going to be a tough search Dave. Good luck.

Andy - sent you a text.

Brock - Been out if the tube pre buying business for a long time. Looks like too long. :( That's why I'm throwing out there to sell my 15's. I haven't done any 2ch listening in over a year. Had a little time the other night and the Marantz sounded good but I just can't do it without tubes. Just don't sell off all your good ones in case I need a few.

$399 but you'll probably wait a couple of weeks for it to ship and you get to build it yourself!!!

Oops....just saw that your lazy and this doesn't have a remote. Aaand I should sermize that since you are lazy, you won't want to build it either. Double fail on my part. :#

A remote would be great but not a total deal breaker. Not sure what all there is to building one but I'm sure I don't have those skills. :(

Only my rear end is lazy. :)

I've built 2 of their kits with no, zero, Nada prior experience with an iron. It was fun and fulfilling at the same time. There are a bunch of guys on here that have done 1+ kits.
I say go for it, but its not my money. B)

You might be able to find an Eastern Electric Mini-Max. Can't praise this thing enough. Plus it's a tube rollers dream and really well built. No remote, but the performance to cost ratio is off the charts.

And here's a Quick Silver w/remote. I'd say your search is done and I can set you up with tubes. :D

Picked up a Dared SL2000A. Right price and remote. Only the fourth one I've owned. :)
