The best way to predict the future is to invent it.

It is imperative that we recognize that an opinion is not a fact.

Congrats! You know what the Daoists say, "A journey of a thousand (probably 10,000 li) miles begins with a single step." Or in this case, a single post.

Perhaps all of us who have made that journey here, should look back to their first post? Well, maybe that's not a good idea, because Skip may be right. lol

You should all be ashamed of yourselves! Social medias, such as this forum, are dumbing down society. I would suggest getting off of your padded computer chairs and actually have a face to face interaction with a real life human. Geesh!

    :D:p:D:p

Congrats Mr. H.! A little less talkie....a little more phono pre-amp...

Are there any real humans left? I thought y'all were all bots...

First post... I think I asked a question about either Polk Nines or the original Polk "Bozos" (Bose 901 clones). I'll go look momentarily.

Hey, mrbiron -- the Reduction is hooked up and plugged in again, and I've spun a few tunes on it this week. Mrs H is outta town birding this week & I don't have to teach (i.e., schlepp to Boston) next week, so I've got a little more bandwidth here at the moment!

I'll post a "hostage photo" under separate cover ;- )

Naah, I'm a Dunkies kind of guy (homage to New England)... but I do sometimes think I missed my true calling in law enforcement... 'cause I love donuts.

Now, I could see a Polk/Hooters tie-in. Maybe a Polk 10 reboot, in that Hooters color scheme?

I don't doubt that... I know my daughter's father in law swears by a place down in or near Springfield right off I-91; dunno the name of it, though.

There's a local place in Hanover that's highly regarded... and our local general store makes amazing donuts.

Kanes in ... umm... Saugus (if memory serves) was the big fave with folks at my last 'real' job. We used to take up a collection & get their donuts now & again.

I know there's an orchard on or near the NH coast that makes dandy apple cider donuts; danged if I can remember the name. A person who worked for me (and lived near the place) said it was the locale that inspired the setting of Irving's novel "Cider House Rules" -- maybe Applecrest Farm in Hampton Falls :-P

Mrs H, an MHC alum, was and still is quite enamored of Atkins Farms cider donuts.

I used to bird/deer hunt in Atkins Orchard in Belchertown.

Are you referring to a donut dip in Springfield?
