Moving to Charlotte. Bought a house. Noticed a pair of 10B's in the attic-original boxes-original owner-mid 80's-original stands. No idea on the condition--owner says they're in great shape. He's a Polk fan "the best I could afford at the time". Seems to be a guy who takes care of his stuff. Been boxed for a few years (and it gets hot in that attic). No way I can preview them before the closing (I'm in NY). What would be a reasonable price?

About the only component which might have degraded due to heat, would be the rubber surrounds on the woofers. They're very resilient, however high heat over an extended period could accelerate aging. The surrounds may have hardened and may develop cracks when they start moving again.Home Theater/2 Channel:
