More WOW ... apparently GI Joe tried to arrange a hit on a village administrator...

and as far is as CBS news being a credible source... Dan Rather and 3 others stepped down after they tried to swing a presidential election by creating a false story with false documents. There's some integrity for ya.

Bottom line- if the family took a $9k trip to Hawaii
the wife knew something. My wife knows if I pull $20 out of
the bank. So she's certainly not completely in the dark.

Sounds like she is a "person of interest" someone is going make a movie out of this....

Bill OReilly and the rest of the charlatans on Fox News have been sued and forced to make more retractions than all of the legitimate news outlets combined. But then Fox isn't really "news" per say. By their own admission they are more of a foreign-owned parody not unlike the Daily Show with John Stewart was.

Just because Dan Rather was duped by a questionable source doesn't mean the story wasn't true. There was never a denial by the person the story was about. I think everyone knows it was probably basically true even though the details may have been fabricated.

But all that nonsense aside, here in Chicagoland we are hearing a lot more about this case than is making it's way to the national news level. The family has been under suspicion for a while now and there have been plenty of leaks along the way leading up to this point.

I was at one of the final car shows of the season in a town next door to Fox Lake and there were a bunch of guys in a bar on the street where it was being held that were arguing over whether Gliniewicz committed suicide or not. It eventually got real ugly and a fight erupted. The police had to come break it up. I remember the bar tender getting in one of the guys faces and yelling "Joe didn't kill himself!!!"

This was right after it was leaked that he was shot with his own gun and the trajectory was at an angle that indicated that it was self-inflicted. People were very emotional about it and probably still are. They were saying on the local news that cars were driving by the Fox lake police headquarters yesterday yelling "It wasn't suicide!"

Now they are saying he tried to hire a gang member to murder the woman who was investigating him and was also trying to frame her for drug possession. They found packets of cocaine in Gliniewicz's desk that he was supposedly going to plant on her.

His wife helped run the youth program he stole all the money from.

Does anyone still think his family deserves his pension?

Please show me credible links/information to the Fox news lawsuit losses...would like to read proof of your assertion.

Only if it proves to be true.... you can't hang people because of a news story... Look at how much has happened in just the past couple of years that was reported in the news that once it went to court was proven to be laden with lies. Let the courts decide.
