Will a Sonos Connect Amp power Polk SDA-2A speakers?

I have a pair of Polk SDA-2A speakers (at least that's what the manual says; the speakers just say "2" and have the pin/blade interconnect, rather than blade/blade, so they might be a transitional model).

I'm was driving them with an old Sony ES receiver and am considering a Sonos Connect Amp instead. Not as much power as the Sony (about 1/3rd, I believe), but I'm told the Sonos amp "should be" good enough. I did hook up the Sonos to the speakers briefly (without the interconnect) and they seemed to work, but I was reluctant to experiment too much.

An alternative for me would be to get a Sonos Connect (no amp) and get a new amp with more power and common ground.

    Amplifier Class-D
Rated Output 110W RMS (2x55W continuous average power into 8 ohms, THD+N<0.02%)*

    I would not do it.

I would go for your second thought.

I have both the Sonos Connect and the Amp. Originally had the Amp powering a set of Polk TL-3 and using sub out on a Polk 110 sub for my desk top rig which was fine.

I then purchased a used set of LSi7 and paired w/ Sonos Amp that didn't fair well.
I bought a Dayens Ampino and now using Sonos Connect with great results for my desk top rig.
    2-channel: Modwright KWI-200 Integrated, Dynaudio C1-II Signatures
Desktop rig: LSi7, Polk 110sub, Dayens Ampino amp, W4S DAC/pre, Sonos, JRiver
Gear on standby: Melody 101 tube pre, Unison Research Simply Italy Integrated
Gone to new homes: (Matt Polk's)Threshold Stasis SA12e monoblocks, Pass XA30.5 amp, Usher MD2 speakers, Dynaudio C4 platinum speakers, Modwright LS100 (voltz), Simaudio 780D DAC

Thanks to both of you for your responses. I'm now looking for a low-cost amp to use with my SDAs.

Welcome to CP. If they have a pin/blade interconnect, they're 2Bs, not 2As. Big difference.

Well, I am confused about the nomenclature. But, I've now checked the serial numbers: 16650 right and 18675 left, which seems to indicate that they are, in fact, 2Bs. They do look like the 2Bs pictured here. I may have to take one apart...
