I need to thank a few people on here. 1st @tonyb. He offered to help me with my room issues with a complete cable change. He has loaned me his speaker cables, IC's and a digital cable to see if it would help. We meet for lunch last week and chatted quite a bit. I flipped the room around once again with a little bit of gain but, the cables to me were night and day. In my room it helped bring things back into balance.
2nd @DSkip. He sold me a set of PNF speaker cables to try out but, they needed to be re-terminated. Well after hearing Tony's cables, I knew what I wanted. I never asked Skip for a refund but he offered to refund my money since they were not sent out just yet. I did tell him about the cables I was trying out and that I wanted a set for myself. Even though he is getting the business up and running, he had my best interest at heart.
Folks, I know we have some bickering here or on any form you go to but, this is what it is all about. Helping each other and for the love of audio and music and sharing in what we find joy in. Being able to try out different things to see if it helps get the sound your looking for without breaking the bank or having to keep buying and selling over and over and what's learned here and a lot of forums in general is priceless. I know everyone has their own opinions on things and everyone likes a different sound but, in one form or another, we all have learned from each other.
I could go on and on since there is a lot of people from F1to H9 on down to EndersShadow that have offered me advice via PM/ phone calls and such but, I wanted to kind of keep it somewhat short.

We have great selfless folks here Brian. A couple of years ago Tony was willing to do some leg work for me without ever meeting or really know me in person it didn't work out on that project but it did keep me from making a 2.5 road trip to find the same as Tony did. I think that is just what makes club Polk so special.

@pitdogg2 for the help with the tube buffer tube choices a while back and I still cannot pronounce the dang Russian tube name without butchering it!
Hochpt21, @EndersShadow has also helped me out with the mini dps unit. Above and beyond a sale. A big "Tip 'O The Hat" to F1-Nut who recently helped out a veteran buddy of mine who had been screwed over by an audio tech. Jesse fixed up my buddy's vintage Yamaha receiver in a very timely and impeccable manner. This guy's Dad was a marine taken prisoner of war for three years by the Japanese in WWII in the Phillipines. After being captured he was taken by the Japanese to China and enslaved in the mines, hard to even imagine. After he got back, he re-enlisted for Korea. My buddy was a marine in Vietnam. I wanted to help him out by hooking him up with somebody who could help him get his gear back in order so he could get back to enjoying audio, and Jesse stepped up.
Lots of other guys have hooked me up or given me good advice, I can't possibly name them all: TroyD for the monoblocks that raised my game substantially; Bikerboy for the Denon TT that I still enjoy; Headrott, DSkip, BlueFox, HochPt21, CSTMAR01, ZLTFUL, Dawgfish, Endershadow, DaBoyz, Snow, cnh, doctor r, Timothy Smith, Doctor Cilantro, and others for other gear, road trips, and great advice. RedTedNugent, Pumpkinman, Chumlie, Rick88 and all the boys and girls on the What Are You Listening To? thread; Classic Carl, Wardsweb, Kenneth Swauger, Mhardy, SCompRacer, and Treitz3 for helping with many very specific and technical questions; George Daniels for always being willing to help out; George Grand for donating so much time and money to charity, and moving a bunch of great vinyl to me in the process; Pepster for schooling me on cables and being a super nice guy in general; and PolkFarmBoy, well, for being PolkFarmBoy, and giving me spot-on advice on several occasions. And whoever started the "Cleavage" thread.

I've also did my own thank you thread kinda sort of. Tony for sure is the most level headed guy here and helped my when I was at my stubborn worst. He has also graciously lent then gave me some sets of I/Cs which were night and day better than what I was using. As for Skip the man has hearing like an owl and I do listen to his advice and all the good luck to him in his business. The list goes and I've already mentioned them in other posts. Fact is here, if you have an open mind, can take advice, and can take some heat if you deserve it then anyone will be ok here. No one here wants anybody to have their tunes to be inferior and will guide you along the way. Bravo to you for acknowledging them.
1.Tony--for I/Cs and being my Rabbi here
2. WMD--Dave for working hard on my x-overs and advice that spans not hours but days.
3. P-Man--Bill for coming over trying out different cables, giving me the NAD 1020a and then when that went down a Sony surround processor that also doubled as a pre/amp
4. F-1--Jesse for helping in my attempt to bleach out then stain my 2B oak tops and bottoms which came out as beauties.
5. Doc MHardy--Mark let me know that my tweeters pulled from a beat set of KLH speakers were Peerless would and are now in my ADC 303ax sounding way better.
6. Pitdogg--Letting me have it when I said I used extension cord wire instead of real spkr. cable for my Speakon i/c cable and then used the real deal.
7. Mantis--Dan for guiding me through rewiring my sub woofer w/ RG-6 double shielded coax as an alternative for a long dedicated sub woofer cable and saved me a bundle.
8. Ray for all his scientific tests/experiments w/ proof of results and 3/4 of the time I have no idea what the hell he talking about.

That's an expensive trip to the bar. I mean, yeah, you get a live show, but its not going to be anything worth talking about the next day, right?
