PSW 111 power issue

I've had my PSW 111 on a surge protector for many years and we just had a power outage, which is not that uncommon. This time when the power came back on, the PSW 111 will not stay powered on and is in an endless loop of powering on and immediately powering off about every second. The sub makes a slight thump as normal at the first sign of power, but now it sounds like a heartbeat with the endless powering loop which is how I first realized something was wrong.

Any ideas on what the culprit could be?

    Welcome to Polk's forum. In all likelihood there's a problem with the bass amplifier and it will need service or replacement. It would be best to contact Polk's CS department at either 1-800-377-7655 or via email to polkcs@polkaudio.com. They can help get things straightened out.
