Preservation of foam surrounds and replacement

I have a set of RM Series ll satellites with foam surrounds that are still workable. I am looking for opinion on what to use on the foam to keep them soft and supple? Please only proven and acceptable methods, they have not cracked or anything but are not as soft and pliable as they once were. Armor all ?
Also in the event I choose to replace them where would I look for parts? preferably rubber but foam will be fine also.

There is no magic bullet for foam surrounds. There's some snake oil out there, that promises to preserve them, but all it does it put a shinny film on them. Polyurethane and Polyether will break down no matter what you put on them or where they're used.
Amor All is mostly silicone, and will not protect them, and could hasten their demise. Rubber surrounds are not an alternative. They will change the T/S parameters of the woofers, which may make then incompatible with the enclose they're in.Home Theater/2 Channel:

David. How about that AR surround stuff i used on the KLH cloth surrounds ? It is far better than surround stuff you wouldnt want to use-because it would effect movement of the surround. Im sure it would be noticeable like you stated & i have never tried it.. -
That's for Cloth surrounds Randy. The Toluene in it will eat right through foam surrounds.Home Theater/2 Channel:

We will let the suggestions keep coming until I get some sound ideas, thanks though.

Foam replacements are a necessary evil when it comes time (foam rots). Nothing in my experience restores or protects them.
BTW... are you using those with the bass module. I have a rm1000w bass module that I am not using at the moment and thought about finding the correct satellites to pair them with and gifting them to my granddaughter for her first stereo. Are these systems decent for a small bedroom set-up? Can grab a pair off $bay for $40 includes shipping.
She would flip at the thought of having her own sub (bass module) as she quite enjoys coming to papaws and going on the subwoofer ride.

Advise offering, remove the front face of them and tighten the crossover nuts and all screws internally and externally every one I have seen have come loose due to time and vibration. prevent those rattles
