So I heard Skip's set up... the Rosso with Ampino, Marantz.

I can definitely see why he likes the system, it was actually better than I expected.

Musical and easy to listen to when the source is good. He actually had very good staging which was a welcome surprise to me since I am a staging fanatic.

If you're going to his meet in a couple of weeks, I am sure you will enjoy the set up as well.

    I had the pleasure of listening to it a couple of weeks ago and came to the same conclusion.I liked it so much I ordered an Ampino.I will try it with my B&W Cdm1nt's and see how it sounds.I'm gonna set it up in the wifes craft room for her. lol.I will still need to work on the source but that will come after the first of the year.

    when I listened to them, the thing that impressed me was the speed, clarity, and liveliness of the midrange. skip didn't get all of this out of me because I didn't have enough to drink :D I did tell him that I heard the good things of a horn from the midrange.
