You guys watch the Denver game last night ? I thought I had mistakenly turned on college ball. Holy smokes man, never expected these 2 teams to play like that....not at their level anyway.

Thursday night games will always have flaws, not enough time to recover from previous Sunday, or prepare on such a short week.
That being said, what you saw was two of the five best front sevens in football dominating the offensives. Best player last night for each defense, Howard for KC (he is the secret reason Houston gets the sacks), and Ware for Denver.

This years Denver Offense to me looks confused and uncomfortable. Nothing seems to go smooth like the last 3 years.
But the Defense looks amazing and is what is winning games for them. That defense is one of the if not the best Denver Defense I've ever seen. They play together very well.
I don't think that is was a poor game, it's 2 very good defenses just crushing the offenses. Even as talented as the Bronco's are, KC's defense was very good at stopping just about everything they tried to do.
I'm surprised that the Bronco's are 2-0 right now in ways and in others with the Defense I'm not. It's gonna be a long season if this is how the Offense is going to handle top Defenses.Dan

Yeah, Denver's new scheme is to run the ball more, and nothing wrong with that but Payton has spend his whole career running the offense and seems uncomfortable when someone else is calling the shots. He looked very uncomfortable in that game which is unusual for him. You can tell his confidence was shaken.HT SYSTEM-
