Mostly features and prices... Here is what IT has over what my old AVR has...
XT 32 v 2EQ
8 HDMI v 5
4k & HDMI 1.4 v 1.3
3 HDMI outputs v 1
9.2 + Atmos v 7.1
Networked Audio v non
If I could have it ALL price wise I'd prefer either the Marantz SR7009 or AV7702 but those are twice the price of the Denon....
I really need the help auto calibration wise and the EQ is a considerable step up from what I have now."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." William Bruce Cameron, Informal Sociology: A Casual Introduction to Sociological Thinking (1963) -

Woah!!! Where are all you dudes coming from? Finally give in to vanilla or what?
Vanilla still sucks! I often lurk here, but haven't posted much. Grew a little weary of all the extraneous nonsense. Anyhow, I'll try to pop in now and then for some audio chit-chat and good humor!

Plus Dan let me be the guinea pig with the 4100 and knows how much I love it. Hehe."Some people find it easier to be conceited rather than correct."

Yes, I know you sleep with the remote and manual under your pillow along with a picture of it on your nightstand"....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted."
