CS350 with 2B's

I have been using this CS350 for about a year and it seems that to my ears there is a slight bump near the 700Hz to 1KHz and it tends to stand out a little. It can produce the lows pretty good but I'm wondering if a cap change would help. I did read that someone did a Sonicap but since it's only one cap, would another one work any better? I know that it's really dependent on what I think sounds better but just curious.
Being only one cap I don't mind spending a little extra.
Would the CS400 be a better match?

I've owned the CS350ls, and it's one of the best centers Polk ever made. Replacing the NP Electrolytic with a Sonicap will improve the overall sound quite a bit, which is what I did. It will not affect the Lo-Pass however. The Hi-Pass is 2nd order, the Lo-Pass is 1st order.
Does your AVR or Pre have some type of calibration? Also check that all four woofers are functioning, as they can experience magnet shift.Home Theater/2 Channel:

IMHO, CS400 is a perfect match for a center channel for the SDAs. With its 6-1/2" drivers, it gives a seamless L-to-R voicing in my HT setup with SDA-1Cs as my fronts. It's very clear, detailed and delivers anything I ask of it.
I've always heard great things about the CS350LS too and if there's any tweaking or mods that'll bring out its best performance, WMG would be the guy who could do it. However, if you do have a blown driver in the 350, a replacement can be very difficult to find.

I quite like the CSIa6 with my modded 2Bs. I ran a CS400i but that was with RTi12s. Guess Im doing it backwards

Well I finally made it around to pulling the drivers and all the mids measure 3.6 ohms and the tweeter measures 5.9 ohms. The CS400 I put in its place briefly sounded a little better but not much. I'll try swapping cables or the amp since it's looking like the speaker may be ok.
