Nice review on the link, but would love to see more comparisons to other speakers like you mentioned Marv. Paradigm Studio speakers always had good reviews and I can imagine this new line to be fabulous.

We had a pair of them for demo back in the spring and, honestly, for the money, I wasn't impressed.
Granted, they were being demoed in the same house as 3 different pairs of Salks...hehe."Some people find it easier to be conceited rather than correct."
"Unwad those panties and have a good time man. We're all here to help each other, no matter how it might appear." DSkip -
To my ear the 95fs offer a very appealing combination of attributes. They have excellent transient response, and an articulate, tuneful bottom with real extension. They don't impart bass when it is not in the recording, but man when it is there-it is very well done. The highs are detailed and smooth. I will say that both the mid range and treble smoothed out after 30 hours or so. The dealer is a friend and initially thought the Prestiges were too hot and a little fatiguing, but once his demo pair had some playing time he became a believer! The 95fs, once broken in, have been giving his other hot product in that price range, the Golden Ear Triton One serious competition. They are both great speakers to my ears-just different.
Many of the big Paradigm's strength are connected to their efficiency. I've played them with NuPrime, Peachtree, Hegel, and Prima Luna amps- 35watts/ch to 125 watts/ch. they were all satisfying and made the speakers play music beautifully.
For some context, I was in the audio business for a decade, and another 30 years as a hobbyist. I have owned or worked with dozens of speaker and electronics lines.
The openness and clarity of these speakers remind me of planars, and the dynamics are again kind of like an ESL or a horn based system (I sold a lot of Klipschorns and Altec 19/14s back in the day). For clarification, when I sold the Klipsch Heritage stuff, I owned B&W 802s- I am not a horn fan overall, but love the way they do dynamics and immediacy- these 95fs have those qualities along with a much smoother, sweeter midrange and treble. Add to that a very cohesive sound and first rate imaging.
These are the first Paradigms I've owned- I tended regard the company as almost mass market due to their market penetration and wide range of speakers-
Must say I have learned better.
