Great Bands & Musicians - Unknown Great Songs?

Hey all - this is a weird question - I'm seeking out some new (to me) music to add to the digital library a song at a time - not whole albums.

Specifically, great bands, but lesser known stuff that's "not to be missed". Or, alternatively, great tunes that never quite made it big - for instance: Sir Douglas Quintet - "She's About a Mover" or "Poor Tom" off LZ Coda vs. the more popular LZ, etc etc.

Anybody have any hidden gems out there I've been missing all these years? One-hit wonders or great songs on B sides most people miss? I'm all ears!

Drivin N Cryin is a very under rated group....Saw them live with Cracker at a venue called the Boathouse in Norfolk Va. Back in 92 I think....That was one heck of a barn burner..kind of like a runaway truck....great show!..

yes, Fever Tree was big here in Houston back in the late '60's . Didn't Mike do another band called Blowtoarch Repair? Who can forget the awesome band 13th Floor Elavators???

Willis Alan Ramsey was fairly popular down here in Tx. in the Austin scene. He played many times here in Houston either at Liberty Hall or Anderson Fair.

Heck yea..I have a copy..Think it's out of print too..Did it with Buck and other members of REM...dam good album...

Another very good one I had the pleasure of catching live at the He's Not Here icehouse out of Pasadena ages ago.....I think it was Pasadena or thereabouts!!
