Polk N1 Soundbar

I have a new Samsung and the N1 soundbar is not programming to the remote properly.
Issue- I press learn, Vol +, and use the remote until I get a proper response. The I do the same thing for volume down. That works but volume up no longer works in fact it actually mutes instead and I haven't even programmed mute yet.
I have tried several times and even reset the bar to start from ground zero.
The N1 soundbar worked without any issue on my previous TV and it is only a few months old.
