Hello Guys,
Which one would be a better turntable in your opinion? the debut is 399 and the rpm1 is 499. the debut brings the 2mred and the rpm1 the sumiko pearl cartridge. I do not care about the cartridge since I have the denon dl-110 and will use it with either one if possible.
the rpm1 is a mdf platter and the debut is metal platter (can be upgradeable to acrilyc)
Which one would be a better fit to the denon cartridge and a better upgrade than my very normal pioneer pl-100 turntable?
thank you all for your opinions.
is there a better turntable than these options in that price range?
regards,
Eduardo

Good question. From what I've read the Debut Carbon is the biggest bang for the buck, possibly more so with the acryilic platter and a good cartridge, as such it will be my pick when I finally get around to going Vinyl.Up

Get the debut carbon espirit. It has the upgraded platter and the speed box built in. It's like getting the two initial upgrades to the debut for half price.
I think it's 499 or 599.2 ChannelTurntable - VPI Classic 2/Ortofon 2M BlueAmplification - Rogue Audio Cronus Magnum II, Parks Audio Budgie PhonoSpeakers - GoldenEar Triton 17.2 Home TheaterDenon AVR-X3300W; Rotel RMB-1066; Klipsch RP-280F's, Klipsch RP-450C, Polk FXi3's, Polk RC60i; Dual SVS PB 2000's; BenQ HT2050; Elite Screens 120"Man CaveTurntable - Pro-Ject 2.9 Wood/Grado GoldAmplification - Dared SL2000a, McCormack DNA 0.5 DeluxeCD: Cambridge AudioSpeakers - Wharfedale Linton 85th Anniversary; LSiM 703; SDA 2A -
IIRC, the RPM series had a lot of complaints with motor noise...
Personally, I've never had an issue with motor noise with my Debut Carbon. -
