better to use 4 of same speaker for fronts and rears in a 5.1 setup or use 2 of the FX speakers?
In a basic 5.1 setup, should the rear surrounds be the same speakers as the fronts or should they be the FX type that I see? Specifically the RT series. Thanks

I would prefer the FX speakers since they have speakers on both sides there by making it more surrounding/encompassing.Marantz AV-7705 PrePro, Classé 5 channel 200wpc Amp, Oppo 103 BluRay, Rotel RCD-1072 CDP, Sony XBR-49X800E TV, Polk S60 Main Speakers, Polk ES30 Center Channel, Polk S15 Surround Speakers SVS SB12-NSD x2

Which is better for rear speakers bipole, dipole, or monopole? Good luck finding a unanimous answer on that one.afterburnt wrote: »They didn't speak a word of English, they were from South Carolina.
