Nice man. What's the next project?

Truth is that I have a carpenter stating a 14'x16' room for me in the basement. He'll start working this Sunday. I plan on making some room treatments for the new room. I will also be making a new rack/stand but that'll be later on.

If so, Mark those are stands that came w/ my C/L $20 JBL= 2060 bookies that are high up and very rarely used .Those wire stands came along with them and I'm using them for the slanting of my ADC 303ax on both sides. I was a little confused saying they were not M7s on the pavers and clearly are. Older but 7s just the same.

Nope that's not what I wrote.

I said* (using some glib prose) that the stands under the speakers that weren't Polk 7s (the speaker on the left in your photo) looked like good ones to try your Polks on. The little slabs under the 7s probably don't much help decouple nor do they improve "time alignment" of the drivers. The wire ones would.
    * -- What have you got those -- uhh -- things that aren't 7s sitting on?
They look like they've got a fairly righteous lift and tilt thing goin' on.

Mark , when I send out my x-overs to Dave I'll try your idea. My mistake since I think you had forest of monoliths of 7s growing out of your fertile New England soil, or 10s. Just the same you do know what your looking at and if it will save space and maybe as you say add to the sonic quality of the 7s. I'll try it. The ADC303ax are big enough to stand and fire on their own. I other thing those pavers are not all that little. 16"x16" x2" painted black plus a bad picture contributed to your impression and many here said if I wasn't going the spike route on my 2Bs then pavers would work. Opinions opinions... One other point the 7s standing straight up are hiding the stupid stand that the EP100v are on and hiding.

    Great looking stands. Nice Job!

I used pre-finished shelving boards from Lowes to make stands for my monitor 10s. The boards were wrapped with simulated wood-grain vinyl. If it was good enough for Polk to put on the speakers it is good enough for me. LOL
