Since I purchased Assimilated's iPad air, I no longer have need for this. I purchased it new, put it in a case the second day I bought it, and there it has stayed. I like the case because you get otterbox like protection but its not too bulky or heavy. Of course, you don't have to use the case, but I am sending it to you anyway because it doesn't fit the new iPad

It has the latest software, 8.4. Runs like a champ. I just went with a bigger model since it was a great deal. Honestly in some ways I like the smaller size better since I use it to lecture from. Would make a great remote!
