This is what I got.

So i moved around some stuff im my trophy room and checked the back of my equipment. I have one pair of sda srs and on pair of sda srs 1.2tl.

I just received my genie clips and i will start my ceiling this weekend, hopefully by next weekend I will have Everything sheetrocked, taped, mudded and painted :). Lol alot easier to say then it is to do.

Ok now a question for the speakers. Does anyone have a picture of what the crossovers stock look like? Im see the vr3 modded ones on ebay but then i see the circuit boards selling on gimpod and im trying to figure out whats what.

Once again i have not even opened my babies up to answer my own questions. I knowmonce i do i will start soending money :)

Search for crossover upgrades threads by Darqueknight and Toolfan66. Plenty of info and pics here on the forum.

Gimpod's boards are great because they're well made, he has website that shows where every lead for every component attaches to the board, and they're big enough to provide room to fit high quality film caps, inductors, etc.

Can someone cirlce for me in both pictures what is the resistor that fails and shorts out. Also the new baord from gimpod can be both used in the newer and older version crossover? Or are thier different circuit boards for the different models?

There isn't a resistor that fails or shorts out.

The SDA SRS cannot use Gimpod boards, the 1.2TL's can.

The polyswitch on the 1.2TL crossover in the pic shown above is the mustard yellow colored small disk in the S1 position.

Yes the polyswitch, i see it in the 1.2tl picture.

As far as the orginal sda srs crossover its the blue pill thats solderd in the outline that has S correct?

Ok so what board can be used for the sda srs? Or are people just using the original with new parts?

Once I get my sound proofing finished i can move forward onto my speakers.

Ill start to take pictures when I start to open them up.

Thanks for the help and right terminology.

The 1.2s can use the original board, or Gimpods. There is no alternate for the SRS, you must use the original board, or do a custom point to point.
