RTi 100 plate amp problems --any way to delete it?

Hi all. I have a pair of RTi100. The caps were replaced in 2011 and 2012 by Polk which cost about $65/each with shipping. Yesterday, one of the plate amps is showing another problem...it turns on but there is no bass. Fuse is good and the board looks ok with no apparent burn marks or anything. Admittedly, I am getting ticked off by the apparent poor quality of these plate amps. It is my 4th system that gets the least amount of use...maybe 2 hrs a week. Sorry to vent. Is there any way to bypass the plate amp and hook up the little woofer to be driven by the receiver? I suspect the crossover is in the plate amp itself but I do not know. Anyone do this or know how to do it? I don't want to send it in to Polk for repairs only to have it break down again.
Thanks.
Thanks.
