Just signed up today and wanted to say hello to everyone. Moved into my new house a lil while ago so i have lots of projects going on. Been reading for a couple of months at night lil bit here and their. Im proud to say i own some vintage polk sdas and some newer polk audio as well. My main goal is to get as much info and help i can upgrade my older speakers to the best i can. I am def not a person who understands the lingo as many of you do. Im all hands on and learn from pictures.

So thanks for all the good info and hope to get some upgrading done soon.

    Yeah a big welcome, so what model SDA'S do you own, and what other Polks do you have? A lot of knowledgeable members here who are more than happy to answer any questions, a good bunch of folks all around. I will warn you watch your wallet as its easy to spend money on upgrades, and stuff you just got to have after you have been around the temptations are overwhelming.

    thanks for the big welcome. I have a couple of pairs of the sda srs.. got them from a family freind who has owned them since new. They have been in my possesion for about 7 years with little usage time. In great shape outside, one pair doesnt not have feet on the bottom so the wood is a lil scratched up. I dont even have them setup yet. I don't think i have the right room setup to truly listen to them. But i know when i see good stuff and im not getting rid of them :). Been reading lots on crossovers and upgrading but i am totally confused as i am a visualy learner. Im reading alot but getting confused when i cant put a picture to a word.

    I will get the model specifics for you guys, they are more like trophies in a spare room now. I love music, movies and gaming. I am in the current phases of installing roxul safe sound all around my entertainment room, and finish it off with genie clips and double sheetrock with that sound glue in between. I know these name a lil better cause the last 2 weeks i have stuffing my walls wit the roxul. Just came acroos the genie clips on youtupe video and decided to buy em and try em.
