Any thoughts on these? The were thrown in with the TT that I bought. If I am going to use them I will need an extention cable. Any cheap good ones that yall would suggest?

Doug from Douglas Connection can also make you one (likely for cheaper too lol) to whatever length you want...
@helipilotdoug
Here is an example of one he made for someone on another forum...
Otherwise honestly you can find one at Monoprice, but I'd shoot for a bit higher myself..."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." William Bruce Cameron, Informal Sociology: A Casual Introduction to Sociological Thinking (1963) -
Yes a thing of beauty but these are free headphones. I just need an extention to make them useable.

Lol... I have Beyerdynamci DT-770s for work, a set of Jaybird Bluebud Xs for working out and I've run through a fair number of headphone amp/dacs as well..."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." uh what?

Sure! Lots of us use/have H-phones. We even have a sub-forum on this site for that:
http://forum.polkaudio.com/categories/headphones
Check it out. My go to cans are ATH-M50s for closed back (movies at night, etc.), Sennheiser HD 600s as the standard to measure others against, better or worse, plus I like the Quincy Jones AKG Q701s for some genres. But you really need more amplification for the last two. I prefer the open backs for critical listening.
ATHs are decent cans even the lower models 30 and 40.
Enjoy!Currently orbiting Bowie's Blackstar.!
