I have 2 torn surrounds on SDA 2A's and was wondering where I can order new ones vs replacing the drivers. Thanks.

Not available, but you can buy new drivers from Polk.Political Correctness'.........defined

I don't want to spend $100 on drivers when butyl surrounds are only $19-$35 a pair. Just need the measurements to know which ones to buy (hopefully something on the market is compatible.)

Been there done that. All the rubber surrounds are from China, and are too thick.
The Polk surrounds are paper thin, that's one of the reasons why their T/S parameters are very unique for a 6.5" driver.Home Theater/2 Channel:

Thanks westmassguy. That sucks. I guess I'll have to get new drivers. At least I know

Got a pair of the correct drivers on Ebay for $68 shipped. The rips in my surrounds are small and the edges reapproximate where you can barely see that it's ripped . Wondering if I can repair them. Rubber cement? Maybe I should have just done that instead of buying new ones. Has anyone repaired their surrounds?

That's probably the worst place for a tear. Someone posted up about a product they found to repair butyl rubber, but you'll have to look for it because I don't recall the product or where the post is.Political Correctness'.........defined

If they're where I think they are, they're not a tears, but rather age/stress related cracks in the rubber. The repair would be a stop-gap at best. Inspect the replacements very carefully when you receive them.Home Theater/2 Channel:
