Selling my beloved LSi15's. They are currently just sitting in the corner of a room for the last 9 months as I have been in denial that I don't have anywhere to put tower speakers in my new house.

Local pickup in Milwaukee area. I could arrange a meeting for Rockford, Madison, Chicago polkies though.

These have the Db840 subwoofer upgrade installed, which transformed these from a great speaker to extremely good.

Hey man. I've been lurking once in a while, but haven't had time to do much in the world of audio. At least I'm back in the right general area of the country now! I don't have a space for towers in my living room so am going with some Wharfdale Diamond 10.1's and an SVS SB-13Ultra. My old Rti28's are doing the work at the moment though.

The LSi 15's are the older versions. They were replaced by the LSiM 705's.

I think Joey meant the newer or older version (side panels?) of the LSi15s.

It think they are the newer version (LSi15's) , but I need to check when I get home. I also plan to post the pictures in the next day or two. I just haven't been home very much.

Old version is Made in Mexico and new is Made in China, correct?

how is the svs? I've been debating on getting one? I'm really concerned about rolling off the lower frequencies. Have you noticed that issue with it being in a sealed enclosure?

The SVS is quite amazing. My great room/dining room/kitchen is pretty large and this sub remains musical and tight with great output. If I really pour the power to it I can make the floor bounce. I don't use it for HT, but I have no doubt it would reach into the inaudible ranges.

Ok... here is the Photo BUMP finally. Price $600 for Polkies... Oh... You can see the Db upgrade in the photos. I'm not including the Db's if I sell on Audiogon or Craigslist.

I always liked the LSI's and I never got to hear them with the woofer upgrade. I heard so many good things about this change. I damn near want to buy them just so I can check out the upgrade.
Did you do the crossovers to?

Mantis, I didn't do the crossovers. I can promise you, though, that the woofer upgrade was well worth the $80 it cost me. After I made the change I wondered why I waited so long. ...and you should definitely buy them.

Good luck with the sale man. I tried selling my 15's for months, kept getting low ball offers. I eventually decided to keep them, and I'm glad I did.

The pics show everything there is to see. A couple marks on the veneer, but nothing huge. Where in Chicago? I might be going to Ohare in a couple weeks.

My plan is to have it dropped off at my parents house. They pay you money. And I have it sit there for either my parents to bring it to me later this year. Or buy it for my brother.

Let me know if that's a decent plan. Then let me talk with them and finalize.
