PSW125 making faint Heart Beat noise when plugged in and not connected

PSW125 when plugged in and connected or not connected making faint heart beat noise (no sound input). Switch positions / settings do not change the noise. Only way to have the noise stop is to unplug power. Just started troubleshooting this, but have seen others noting this fact. What is the warranty with this unit? Serial number AM122505562. Thanks

    Hello,
    Welcome to Polk's forum. You probably have a defective bass amplifier in your subwoofer. Providing it was purchased from an authorized Polk dealer the woofer itself came with a five year warranty and the bass amplifier is three years. Contact Polk's CS department either at 1-800-377-7655 or via email to polkcs@polkaudio.com. Be sure to have the unit's serial number and date and place of purchase available.
