Received a Peachtree Nova 125SE today in Cherry. Wanted something to drive my LSi9's strictly for 2 channel without firing up the HT rig in the Living Room.

Needed something with a little oomph to drive the power hungry LSi 9's.

125 wpc @ 8 ohms

200 wpc @ 4 ohms

1 Coax
2 Optical
1 USB

And apparently a nice headphone amp should I decide to get me some cans...

Seems to drive the LSi 9's with relative ease and brings out the mids and bottom nicely. Soundstage is impressive as it makes me think my HT center is in the mix...

Has a tube stage that you can switch on and off to help with lossy digital formats (MP3's and such).

Read a lot of reviews and it seems to get a good amount of respect from digital audio fanatics.

I've looked at peachtree a lot in the past, but haven't heard them yet.

diggin it so far... gonna put some hours on it. Made the rig a whole house kinda system... The Peach drives the 9's sourced by the Marantz SA8004's coax out.. The Bluesound node goes into the input of the 8004... the 8004 goes into the P5 to the A21 to the SDA's and the pre out of the Peach goes to the Marantz AV7701 to the little Qinpu which for now is driving the outdoor Atrium 8's.... Waddah Rig!!!

Nice! I have a PeachTree Decco65 and really like it. So your using the DAC from the Nova? you like it over the SACD DAC?
I have the 8005 SACD and use it's DAC for my main set up.

I am using both DACs... The 8004 DAC is feeding my P5 and the NOVA's dac is taking the feed from the pass thru of the 8004. The main rig is still king but this little combo is definitely hot.I never hooked the LSi9's to the A21 but this integrated makes them sing...

I've had a Nova and iNova and enjoyed them both, i'd love to check out the 125se. Congrats!

Got to do some listening on this rig over the weekend and before you know it... back to the salt mines... All in a nice little setup and I am impressed by the little bugger. Perhaps a little more than what I wanted to spend but I think it's quality and value at that price point is excellent. I can really make the VR3 9's sing with some really tight bottom.

I actually like the highs from the 9's to be the best I have heard in any of my Polks.

I really like my Peachtree with one complaint. I hate the way the volume knob feels when you turn it manually. Almost springy....

This combination is not easy to stop listening to. My VR3 LSi9's were sitting for some time. But now they are quite the rig. Finally found an amp that can do them justice. I am sure the A21 could make thme sing too but this little Peach can give them just what they needed.

I would suggest that this integrated would be highly recommended to be paired with a set of LSi 9's or LSIM 703's. There seems to be a very nice symmetry with this setup for me. After spending some time with them I am amazed at this little integrated's ability to drive the 9's to their potential. The bass is so punchy and tight it seems like my 705's are cranking.

A few posts above, you said you like the highs out of your 9's the best. So the modded 9's you are digging over the 705's?

I haven't compare the 2 attached to the 125 SE... I will try it when I get back next weekend. I think any of the LSIM's might outshine the VR3 9's.. But will have to get back to you on that one...

I still have not tried the 703's with the Peachtree... but the way it handles the LSi9's is very hard to stop listening to.

I don't know where all the bass is coming from but it dies sound soooo tight... Not mushy
