How’s the PC2000 compared to the Ultra? Did you notice a big inrovement? Also I have the same rug. :)

The 2000 is a great sub but I wanted more headroom and cleaner low end extension.
    I got just that.
Push the 2000 hard enough you found the limits. I haven't found the limit for the 4000 and don't plan to crack drywall to find it. They did their homework on the 4000 line. It is a great easy to control sub. The app control for the subs makes it so easy to work with them.

I did replace my old subs in the office and MB systems with the 2000s they sound even better in a smaller room. Happy i did it.

Thank you for the feedback. I have an SB13 Ultra with my LSim 705s and they play well together, although I could probably use a second one. I’m wondering if I can get away a 2000 series with my RT series speakers instead of going for the ultra since it’s a second system that isn’t used much. I got rid of a polk paw-650 since it wasn’t too impressive even with the RT series.

I think the 2000 will work with your RT setup. I love the sub it was just a little low on headroom with my big room and the RTiA 9's. The 4000's are a perfect fit.

If you had a 650 you will be very happy with the 2000. I had a PSW1200 and it was weak compared to the 2000.

MY buddy has 2 SB4000's those sealed subs sound great with the lSiM's.

I was concerned about reflections, but after studying things a bit I believe that won’t be an issue. I suppose if it came down to it I could spray a matte black finish on it, but I'm not looking for extra work.

So it seems most of you opt for sealed subwoofers instead of ported. Have any of you heard the difference between the ported and sealed 4000 series?

I succumbed to the pretty blue lights....lol

Rythmik was my other choice and it was very tough to choose between them. Both have a lot of positives and not many negatives. If I was getting one for 2 channel the Rythmik would have been the clear winner as SVS, in a major mistake, does not have high level connections on any of their subs except the SB1000.
