Pangea or similar

Currently running an original Pangea AC-14 with my Plinius integrated, but wouldn't mind upgrading to at least the AC-14SE mkII. I can get the AC-14SE for $50 on Amazon so I'm obviously not looking to spend much here, just looking for a cheap little upgrade. Upgrade is the key, no interest in going lateral just to try out something new/different. Almost forgot, I need about 1m.

I was thinking of going with the 9. I may move the 9 from the subwoofer to see if I can tell a difference. I really want the new AC-9, but $150 is more than I want to spend right now.
Thanks Marvin.Things work out best for those who make the best of the way things work out.-John Wooden -

If you do go with a Pangea AC-9/AC-9SE, make sure you have enough room to make a turn behind your amp. They are very thick, stiff, and heavy, you need about seven inches to make a ninety degree turn. I have one plugged into my AVR, which is almost at ground level (just a few inches above the floor), if you use it on a piece of equipment that is a couple shelves up, it may be difficult to keep the AC-9 plugged into the IEC inlet because of it's weight pulling it down. It may need to be supported.

Amen to that. Plan on an extra 1m to the cable so you have .5 on each side. You also may consider 90 degree IEC adapters so the cable isn't hanging off the back but straight down. I'm fully Pangea in my HT (AC-9, AC-9SE, AC-14, AC-14SE) but thinking HARD on going Cullen for my 2 channel as they are easier to bend.
That and in talking to Patrick he's been very up front about what how his cables are different from Pangea (because I asked )
However the thing about the Pangeas is they are cheap on eBay if your patient. I scored a .6m for 20, a 2m AC-9 for 80, a 1.5m AC-9 for 75, and a AC-14SE for 50 from Tony. Used Cullen cables won't be that cheap.
For an integrated in a 2 channel I might justify the cost. For my HT amp and sub amp the AC-9s are fine.
Only thing about the Cullen is the size of the plug. I worry it will block the outlets on either side in my APC whereas the Pangeas aren't as wide where they plug in."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." Have you asked him about putting a different connector on that end?
Have not. I assumed those were the only ones he used. That and those plugs seem to be the fairly standard ones most folks use.

Funny what you find in the closet "stash." Digging out the speaker mounts for daboyz I found 3 power cables. Aural Thrills, MAC Sound Pipe, and a custom made from Trey (VR3). One of these should suffice.Things work out best for those who make the best of the way things work out.-John Wooden

Could I recommend ps audio? Perhaps an ac3. Think I payed 100$ for a used 2 meter. I picked up a 1 meter on this forum for like 75 bucks. I have owned the pangea and the ps audio ac3 is thick and really flexible. Or maybe check out MIT clearance centre. Just picked up a couple of z cords with hospital grade connectors for 75 bucks new in box. They are also super flexible and get great reviews.2 channel:

I have 2 20A circuits. All amps, including the subwoofer get plugged straight into the wall.
