Up for sale is one heck of a DAC...this puppy has garnered many stellar reviews & I can attest to that! Extremely musical & true to the source. There are a lot of ways to set the DAC up & it never ceased to amaze me. I did a few DSD downloads & it was simply amazing. For redbook it also flat out performs, very analog in it's presentation. I hate to see it go but things are a changing...as always in this crazy hobby of ours.     Looking at the 2Qute...the HUGO TT also is tempting but a stretch on the wallet. If you have the chance of handling the line buy all means jump on it.

    DacMagic Plus which is a great DAC. The TEAC is much more analog in it's presentation & there are so many different variations that the end user can tweak to fit their listening tastes. I personally don't like upsampling so I have a few settings to play with. If one likes upsampling there are various settings for that also. It is an awesome sounding DAC that simply gets the music "right" so to speak.
