dual 660's or single svs...
So right now ive got two dsw pro 660's. Wondering if anyone had any input on whether or not it would be worth it to step up to a single svs pb13 ultra..its not that the 660's aren't great, I just think I've become used to them so to speak and feel like I'm ready to take that next step. Is the 13 ultra gonna knock my socks off or will it just be a minimal upgrade..Any thoughts or experiences you have on this would be greatly appreciated.. Thanks

I think the SVS will crush them but a 45 day trial with your ears is the best bet... free shipping both ways

The Ultra all day, every day and twice on Sunday.
Polk makes good speakers in their price points but their subs leave a lot to be desired.

I upgraded from two dsw 500's to a single sealed ultra. And blew the doors off the polks. Now I have two pb13's. There is no comparison. Just do it. You will be thrilled with the upgrade.2 channel:

It looks like you've made your choice already, but as the others have pointed out, there's really no question here. The SVS all day long. Polk makes some fine loudspeakers, but subwoofers are not their strong point.

Mmmm.. subs.... the next frontier for me.
I agree, you can't lose with the SB13.Magico M2, JL113v2x2, EMM, ARC Ref 10 Line, ARC Ref 10 Phono, VPIx2, Lyra Etna, Airtight Opus1, Boulder, AQ Wel&Wild, SRA Scuttle Rack, BlueSound+LPS, Thorens 124DD+124SPU, Sennheiser, Metaxas R2R -
I'll vote for a single big boy vs two tiny ones!
May I suggest checking out HSU? For the price of one PB13 Ultra You could have Twin 15H Mk2's which will provide more output and more even bass response.
