How long has this line been around? I'm thinking 2006 or 2007? Or was it earlier then that?

I think it was later.
I got my first modest HT setup in 2009 and went with the RTi4s from Crutchfield and don't recall seeing the RTiA1 available...but, I've been known to be wrong (on several occasions).
H9: If you don't trust what you are hearing, then maybe you need to be less invested in a hobby which all the pleasure comes from listening to music.
