PSW111 failure?

I've noticed a pulsing - like a heartbeat on my subwoofer - even with no input. I run as just the LFE from an AV Receiver, so the crossovers in the SW are not active as far as I am aware. Even removing the phono cable from the input and repowering the speaker, I still get the pulsing.
Suspecting a failure in the amplifier circuit. Purchased the unit in the UK in Dec 2010.

Welcome to Polk's forum. In all likelihood the amplifier in your subwoofer has become defective and will need service or replacement. Send an email to Polk's CS department at: polkcs@polkaudio.com and ask for the contact information for the UK importer. In turn they can guide you as to service facilities.
