I just purchased the Omni SB1 sound bar and subwoofer. My TV (Sharp LCD 46") does not have a digital audio connection port so I am using the red and white wires provided with the sound bar. I was able to sync it and get music to play from my phone just fine. I am unable to get it to play the sound from my TV. I have an HDMI cable connecting my Apple TV to my TV and plugged in the red and white cables in just under the HDMI cable under "Input 5." For some reason, my apple TV still uses the TV's speakers instead of the sound bar. Anyone have any idea how to get the audio to stream through my sound bar?

    So apple TV is connected to the TV via HDMI input and the bas is connected to your TV's audio output correct?

    If so there is likely something in your TV's manes to select external speakers as audio output and it might be input specific.
