Whats up everyone?
Anyone watching The Flash? He is one of my childhood Hero's. I loved the Flash when I was a kid. I loved the TV show they had , I liked when the had him on Smallville and now he has his own new TV show and I love it.

Is that on the CW.Oh, Listen here mister. We got no way of understandin' this world. But we got as much sense of this bird flyin in the sky. Now there is a lot that bird don't know, but it don't change the fact that the world is happening to him all the same. Jeremy, it is on CW. Much better show than I expected. It improved a lot since the very early episodes. They also have Arrow, which is a lot darker series, but there has been several crossover episodes between them. It's worth checking out.

I've seen a few of the more recent episodes and they're not bad. I grew up with Marvel and DC comics decades ago. Probably have some first appearance Marvels in a box in the attic.
There's still a child somewhere in here, which is not a bad thing.

The stuff on the cw lately has been very good. I've been watching the 100 for a while. It's become one of my favorites. I I'm going to have to give flash a try.Oh, Listen here mister. I haven't dug into the Arrow but after the few crossover shows, I think I'll watch them on Netflix and get caught up. I was a bit hung up on the fact they had a very good Arrow guy on Smallville which I thought the new Arrow show was going to have in it but they decided to go with another actor and that turned me off from the start.
After seeing him in the crossovers shows , it seems like he plays the roll very well.

If you want to try something different in the superhero type genre, check out either Misfits on Hulu (not Hulu+) and/or The Almighty Johnsons which has 3 seasons on Netflix.
Misfits is a British TV show about a bunch of, well, Misfits, that get struck by lightning and gain powers (while doing community service for petty crimes). I think there's 4 or 5 short seasons available.
The Almighty Johnsons is an Australian show about the descendants of Norse gods living in New Zeland. The AJ are 4 brothers, one of whom is the incarnation of Odin, and they have to find his soulmate Frigga before they die. There are 3 seasons available. Both shows are good fun. -

Misfits sounds very similar to "Misfits of Science", which aired on NBC in the mid 1980's.

I like the new flash series. I do watch it when I can. Didn't like arrow much.

trj, if you didn't like Arrow, you might not like DD. It has a similar, dark, feel to it, imo.
I liked it a lot, but I also like Arrow, to a lesser degree. If you have Netflix, it won't cost anything but some time to figure out if you like it or not. -

I should try out Dare Devil. I do have neflix subscription so probably I will do a Daredevil marathon this weekend. I shall have my surrounds properly placed calibrated by then. So, it should be a good test. Hopefully, 5.1 is proper in Daredevil.

I just watched 2 episodes of Arrow and I really like this show. Much better then I expected. Very good dark flavor to it. I'm so looking forward to binge watching the first season.Dan
