Sorry for your loss Vmax. I lost a great friend I hadn't seen for years, 3 years ago. I still think about him and the good times we had.

Sorry to hear that. I had a neighbor (and a good friend)... talked to him Friday morning and Saturday evening around 6pm had a massive heart attack and died in his recliner. It sucks and makes you think really hard about your own mortality.

Sorry to hear about this, my condolences to you and the family. I always remember a line from an Indiana Jones movie no less, "At some point, life stops giving you things and starts taking away". How true is that ?

We start thinking about our own mortality more so as we get older. Except you can't dwell on it as you'll become a miserable **** to be around. Live your life every day like it's your last, don't sweat the small stuff, cherish what/who you love. I know....easier said than done, but we can try anyway.
