I just had a guy I consider a good friend pass away, without any warning. He shared a post I made on Facebook yesterday and died today, less than 24 hours later.

This breaks my heart, he was an awesome guy.

Life is fragile. Enjoy the friends and family you have, don't spend so much time working, spend more time with hobbies that make you happy, don't eat fast food, the list goes on.

Sorry for your and his families loss.

Oh, Listen here mister. We got no way of understandin' this world. But we got as much sense of this bird flyin in the sky. Now there is a lot that bird don't know, but it don't change the fact that the world is happening to him all the same. What I am tryin to say is, is that the course of your life, well its changing, and you don't even see it- Forest Bondurant

Taken from a recent Audioholics reply regarding "Club Polk" and Polk speakers:
"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion." :\
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....

Ugh, sorry man. While they're all bad, the surprises are the worst. I had a great friend, young guy at 27 no less, pass away late last year. It still gets me down at times. When it gets me down, think back to the hilarious times we had together, and think "thanks for the laughs brother, I'll see you again one day."

Very sad. It really causes you to take a good hard look at your life and see what's important. As Garth Brooks sang, "If tomorrow never comes..." Sorry for your loss, man. Hang in there.

My best friend died last year, he was 31. Liver cancer, hereditary it is presumed. Came out of nowhere... One day he was running marathons, 6 months later he was short of breath and winded just going up a block.

I will never forget that. He and I were like brothers. We are both doctors and we never saw it coming.

Sorry for your loss Vmaxer So sorry man.

I'm 31. Yikes. Hopefully this anxiety goes away quickly. I hate thinking about dying, seriously scary, though inevitable. Usually it happens when I'm trying to fall asleep for some reason.

My sympathy and condolences are with you, vmaxer.

My mother, before she died, always told me:

"People don't die at our convenience.
"Death is a part of life.
"We have to bury our dead."

She believed death was an essential factor in making life valuable. She was the youngest -- by a full 12 years -- of thirteen children. She grew up seeing her elder siblings, and even some of their older children (her cousins) die. I think her sayings above were the way she learned to cope.

Make sure you pay your respects to your friend and his family and loved ones.

    I'm sorry.
