Well it looks like you guys have some good lists going on here. So I'll just add this L.A. based band from the late 60's to early 70's with 3 singers, Negron, Wells and Hutton of Three Dog Night.

I have to say that most of the Polkie's lists have "destroyed" the original LIST! Can't believe a lot of these others were not on the first list!

Hmmmm. Maybe they should have POLLED us?

I think it was Steve who mentioned "Joe Lynn Turner", I think it was one the best heavy metal singers I have heard.

Layne Staley, such a unique voice IMO. I watch/listen to the unplugged show quite regularly, it is very well recorded as far as audio quality goes. Sounds amazing for a live recording.

    Lindsey Buckingham
    Michael Stipe

I would have to give a nod to Kevin Cronin of REO Speedwagon. Always thought he had a great voice back in the day and they were one of my favorite bands.

Jackie Greene - Tell Me Mama. Could hear him sing all day with no "listener fatigue". Has a handful of good albums, plays guitar, keyboards, & harmonica like a maniac, writes his own songs, & played lead guitar for the Black Crowes on the last tour. Was found in an open mic night in some bar.

Glad to see this thread is still going strong. Reason being 1. it's very subjective and 2. there are so many genre's of music it's mind boggling. you have already seen crooners, rockers, country artists, blues dudes, big band, folk, soul, not into opera but if it's your thing it's there also. Yes I did say only U.S. singers
