granite slab / base for SVS cylindrical subwoofer

It's a light colored granite.

You're not going to see much of it with an SVS parked on top of it though

It is a very nice piece but, like I said, you will not see it under the SVS sub. However, it makes for a very solid base.

I have that SVS sub, What does setting it on the slab do for the sound..if anything?

@tophatjohnny - this is what I found when I did a little research:

"Creates A Cleaner, More Accurate Low Frequency Response. Reduces Coloration and Muddy Sound. Decouples The Sub From The Floor and Diminishes Structural Vibrations. Increases Low End Clarity"
