I want to be able to play music from my android phone/tablet to a wireless (not BT) dac to a pair of out door speakers... I use my media server, tidal etc... What are some quality/good value products for me to consider?

    Also, John just put up a Pioneer networking player that has a dac built in for a tad over 3 bones. Would work nicely with your phone.

    A much cheaper/simpler alternative that will use any dac with an optical input or use the Wolfson built in. I have been using mine with jriver for the last three weeks.     I was also looking at the Audioengine B1.. more expensive...I like their quality

    This will be for my outdoor pool rig. I have a pair of Polk Atrium * SDI's that I snagged at F&F and will be setting up that rig this weekend...Sunny & in the 80's water temp 88... Ahhhhh summer... no wait it just turned spring....

    So I snagged an Audioengine B1 off amazon to try... seems to do the trick... has a good BT range that I might never come close to exceeding... paired up real simple and playing Tidal audio right now... thru my little tube Qinpu amp and audioengine P 4's... I'm going to hook up the Atrium 8's once I figure out placement... and it cools down.... It is hot here..

    So I hooked the Audioengine B1 to my Marantz AV7701 analog CD input... then took a line level out to the little Qinpu A2 tube amp on Zone 2 of the AV7701 and connected my now mounted Atrium 8's and BAMMMM.. outdoor audio.. very nice indeed. All selectable and controllable via my android phone using the Tidal and Marantz Apps and can play multiple zones at the same time..

    Hows Tidal? I hear they are having skipping and disconnects. Any truth to that?
