Static from right channel subwoofer

I thought I had posted this earlier on here but can't find it so here it goes again. In the last few months, when I turn on my system, the right channel subwoofer on my LSi25's has what sounds like static coming out of it. If I let things "warm up" (for lack of a better term), the static sound seems to go away. I have isolated it to my RC subwoofer. Can anyone tell me what it might be? Do I need a new XO? Could it be a blown transistor or something? I've been hesitant to take the speaker apart. Thanks for any suggestions you might have.
